    Music Idea

    So im here thinking about things and listening to my music, and a few days ago i installed winamp remote on this machine, so i could basically sit downstairs and listen or watch things on my PS3, from the upstairs computer.. clever eh?

    It accured to me from reading one of the admins journals that music will never be allowed on dA, but looking at how winamp remote works there may just be a way around this.

    More than anything this is a way for friends to get to listen to each others music and vice versa, only if you choose to and you both have a good internet connection.

    Im seriously thinking of creating a group or something for this, but i'm not sure who else is interested in this idea of mine so get back to me on what you think and how it could work.

    sounds good to me, but I think people shouldn't be able to upload the music, because they'd need more servers, right? possibly demo tracks off the artists'/record labels'? maybe even possibly aiming to improve (music)artist and (visual)artist relations?? sounds like a great idea to me :D :horns:

    Thats the thing they cant upload any music, what remote does is stream the music from your computer to mine, so basically its non rippable, unless you want to really do a silly stream rip which isnt the best.

    ah right... I'm not too down with computer MP3 players and all this but, iTunes does the job for me... but I do a similar thing as you with your PS3, but Xbox, and an ethernet cable to stream my music XD
