    Competition Time

    So having looked at my stats, and having been here for like over 5 years now my PV's yeah yeah Pageviews arnt that amazing, while i dont mind this i do mind the fact that not many people are looking at my work.


    While thinking about this i have decided to go down the mass spam root of things and hold a competition!! :D


    So what are the rules you may ask and what do you need to do?


    This bits kind of easy really since im coming towards 5,555pv's i thought with this kind of competition we should aim to double this!


    So 10,000 pageviews with a screenshot and you win ;P no catches just plain ol simple spread the word and get people to notice lil ol me and you're probably thinking what will we win??


    I have decided that together with a one year subscription you will also find yourself in the possestion of one of these ere Fella's, and to top it all off I'll also throw in a Serious Critique to any of the winners pieces of artwork.


    So what are you waiting for people? :)

    hmmm :/

    The Nellie, a cruising yawl, swung to her anchor without a flutter of the sails, and was at rest. The flood had made, the wind was nearly calm, and being bound down the river, the only thing for it was to come to and wait for the turn of the tide.

    The sea-reach of the Thames stretched before us like the beginning of an interminable waterway. In the offing the sea and the sky were welded together without a joint, and in the luminous space the tanned sails of the barges drifting up with the tide seemed to stand still in red clusters of canvas sharply peaked, with gleams of varnished sprits. A haze rested on the low shores that ran out to sea in vanishing flatness.

    Music Idea

    So im here thinking about things and listening to my music, and a few days ago i installed winamp remote on this machine, so i could basically sit downstairs and listen or watch things on my PS3, from the upstairs computer.. clever eh?

    It accured to me from reading one of the admins journals that music will never be allowed on dA, but looking at how winamp remote works there may just be a way around this.

    More than anything this is a way for friends to get to listen to each others music and vice versa, only if you choose to and you both have a good internet connection.

    Im seriously thinking of creating a group or something for this, but i'm not sure who else is interested in this idea of mine so get back to me on what you think and how it could work.

    So yeah iv been on dA now for over 4 years, creeping around uploading images and making the odd comment here and there, yes i havent been super active but i think gradually this will change with me being involved in several projects i wish to help within the community.

    Some may have seen or some might not have but i was recently featured in `Tepara's journal which can be found here, which was a great surprise so please show her much :heart:

    In other news i have to start work on 7spire and the base logo!! my brother is pacing up and down behind my back as we speak :P this is my new portfolio | web design | hosting business which will hopefully have 7 members of staff, hense the 7 (if your wondering the other 6 will consist of my brother and 5 other college friends) we want to work on things and teach each other new tricks of the trade so by doing this we should be able to accomplish this.

    On the dA front im a helper on AoAChat so come and join us for fun disccssions on how our admins rock to keep this place running the way it does :)

    So a nice msg came my way when i logged on this week, iv been busy with my new course "FDA Web design and Multimedia" which is fantastic fun!

    I get to mess around in flash most of the day what else can i say? lol

    Anyway onto the subject, turns out one of my FlashFAQ tutorials was recently used for a newspost which can be found here - [link]

    Id just like to say a big thankyou for the surprise there i wasnt expecting that at all, its come as a good boost to my morale esp on this project which because of the hugeness that is dA hadnt really got the hits i had hoped for.

    This project was a direct help for the people and staff of the site as another means to show people common answers to common questions.

    So thankyou to all at *AoAClub :)
